网曝门 has received Louisiana鈥檚 first Susan Harwood Training Grant funded by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. John Herrock, director of the Asbestos and Mold Analysis Lab in the 网曝门 College of Pharmacy, received $31,396 to develop training and educational materials for the OSHA website, osha.gov.

网曝门 has received a federal grant of $122,626 from the U.S. Department of Education to help student-parents earn a college degree by providing campus-based childcare. The 网曝门 TRIO Program received the grant through the Child Care Access Means Parents in School Program. The program, 鈥渟upports the participation of low-income parents in postsecondary education through the provision of campus-based childcare services.鈥 鈥淩esearch shows that parents with access to childcare on campus are nearly three times more likely to graduate or pursue additional degrees within three years of enrollment,鈥 said Dr. Catherine Estis, TRIO Executive Director.

USDA awards $597K for telemedicine project by pharmacy's Dr. Bryan Donald. The project, in collaboration with Ochsner Health System and the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance, aims to provide affordable pediatric cardiology services via telemedicine to patients throughout the rural areas of Northeast Louisiana.

Dr. Matthew Talbert, 网曝门 Associate Professor of Biology, has received a $352,500 grant to support his research into the obesity-diabetes connection. The grant is from the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive Kidney Diseases.

Dr. Susan Lacey received 176k USDA grant to help NELA seniors. This USDA grant uses storytelling, an innovative and efficacious strategy, to help Northeast Louisianans at eight Senior Centers in rural NE Louisiana struggling to maintain blood pressure control. Participants watch videos of those who have been successful controlling their disease.

网曝门 Fringe Benefit rates for 2021-2022 are 37.5% Unclassified, 37.5% Classified, 30% summer school, winter session, part-time, overload, 24% Overtime, and 0% student workers and GAs.

Dr. John Sutherlin, Chief Innovation and Research Officer and LaWanna Gilbert-Bell are the Authorized Institutional Representatives for submission of proposals and signing authority for contracts, MOUs, agreements, and subawards/subcontracts.
